Estimator / Snr. Estimator - Civil/Structures
About the role:
Our client, a renowned civil engineering firm, is seeking an experienced Civil Estimator to join their dynamic team. This firm is known for its diverse range of civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, water systems, and urban development. The role involves preparing detailed estimates for various civil and rail corridor projects, as well as collaborating with the estimation submission team to ensure timely tender submissions.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed estimates for a wide range of civil engineering projects.
• Review of contract documents including scope of works and specifications.
• Ensure all estimates comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Manage multiple tenders at one time.
• Compilation of tender supporting documentation and quotation/tender pricing submissions to ensure high-quality submissions that meet client specifications.
• Review and critically assess estimates provided by subcontractor pricing.
• Liaise with the Estimation manager to ensure final price accuracy.
Qualifications:
• Degree in Civil engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in civil construction estimating.
• Proficiency in using estimating software such as Candy / Expert/ Benchmark.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and building codes Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
